Why We Built ALF Apps
The Problem We Saw
Working with assisted living facilities across the midwest, we kept seeing the same problem — ALF operators were forced to use SNF software that was too complex, too expensive, and completely wrong for the ALF care model. Staff were frustrated. Administrators were overwhelmed. Residents were lost in the paperwork.
We Started Building
We assembled a team of healthcare operators, clinical staff, and software engineers who had direct ALF experience. We spent 18 months in facilities, watching workflows, talking to nurses, and mapping every process before writing a single line of code.
First Facilities Go Live
Our first partner facilities went live with ALF Apps. The feedback was immediate — staff found it intuitive, administrators loved the visibility, and billing teams finally had a system that matched how ALFs actually bill.
